Peter’s Fish Market is an iconic seafood outlet on the Gold Coast, well known to locals and tourists alike. Established over 20 years ago, Peter has a reputation for providing the freshest seafood at the best price.
Peter required an all weather solution for his ever expanding customer base. In particular he was after an outdoor eating area which protected his customers, year-round, from both the rain and harsh Australian sun.

How we met the brief
Rectangular Structure with a waterproof flat Inclined Roof Membrane. Clear drop PVC blinds, intergrated lighting and custom built framed signage.
The outside area was designed in two sections including a waterproof structure with clear blinds and a rectangular sail designed to fit in between trees and the structure. A fabric called Ferrari 502 was chosen for its durability and waterproof properties and all fittings were 316 grade stainless steel.All corners were reinforced and 316 stainless steel wire was installed around the perimeter of the sails for strength and shape when tensioned.
