HDPE – Shadecloth

HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) is a heavy-duty knitted mesh with a monofilament and yarn construction designed for use in shade structures, privacy screens, and shade sails.  HDPE shadecloth is suited to projects where specifications require fabric exposed appropriate for environmental conditions including wind, rain, hail, dust and UV exposure.  Woven HDPE shadecloth offers maximum Ultra Violet A&B protection.

The Global Shade Australia’s range of preferred shadecloth fabrics include Rainbow Z16, Monotec 370 Series and Alnet Extrablock.

PVC – Polyvinylchloride

PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) is a resin coated polyester fabric designed for use in architectural membranes, fabric structures, car park shelters and shade umbrellas.  The most common waterproof tensile membrane, PVC is treated with specific formulas to protect against UV, weather degradation, staining, and fire resistance.   PVC is available in a variety of colours and types to meet a wide range of applications and structural requirements.

The Global Shade Australia’s range of preferred waterproof PVC fabrics include Ferrari 502 and GL1000.
